Traffic Impact
Use caution when driving through the work zone. Expect crews working at night with lane and shoulder closures as needed.
Construction Impacts
Ramp closure:
The connector ramp from northbound OR 99W to the OR 34/U.S. 20 bypass may be closed from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. on weekdays. The ramp will be open on weekends.
Our schedule may change, but currently we're planning to close the ramp these nights:
The bike and pedestrian bridge is now open.
You can expect:
- Most work to happen at night.
- Lane and shoulder closures with flaggers directing traffic when needed.
- Sidewalk and curb ramp closures with pedestrian detours to the nearest available crosswalk.
- Ramp closures with detours as needed – make sure you're signed up to get email updates to know before they start.
- Businesses in the work zone to remain open during construction.
- Construction noise – saw cutting concrete can get loud.
- Delays. Plan ahead and allow extra travel time.

Pedestrians, including those with disabilities, will have access through or around work zones.
Pay attention in the work zone, slow down and move over – imagine this is where you work!
Always drive safely, watch for construction signs and workers.
Remember: fines double in all Oregon work zones, whether workers and signs are present or not.
