About
We're improving a two mile rough section of pavement on OR 18 by the OR 99W interchange. The repairs are needed to preserve the road, reduce maintenance costs and give you a smoother ride.
We are:
- Keeping the existing road alignment.
- Reviewing existing drains to make sure they are operating correctly.
- Removing and replacing the driving surface.
- Maintaining height for vehicles under existing overhead sign and signal crossings.
- Replacing curb ramps as needed to meet American with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards.
- Installing new permanent striping.
We are planning to build and will have a better idea about the construction schedule and cost as we get further in design.
