About

We're improving a two mile rough section of pavement on OR 18 by the OR 99W interchange. The repairs are needed to preserve the road, reduce maintenance costs and give you a smoother ride.

We are: 

• Keeping the existing road alignment.
• Reviewing existing drains to make sure they are operating correctly. 
• Removing and replacing the driving surface.
• Maintaining height for vehicles under existing overhead sign and signal crossings. 
• Replacing curb ramps as needed to meet American with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards.
• Installing new permanent striping.​

We are planning to build and will have a better idea about the construction schedule and cost as we get further in design.

Design and construction: $11,822,677

​Pedestrians, including those with disabilities, will have access through or around the work zone.
