About
We will repair two bridges on I-84 over Spruce Street in La Grande. We will repair deck surfaces and bridge approaches (the transitions between the road and bridge) that are in poor condition and have failed connections. We will install new joints and rebuild transitions from the road to the bridge. These repairs will extend the life of the structures and provide a smooth and safer ride.

Cost and Funding
The estimated project cost through construction is $8.8 million.
Benefits
Bridge deck and approach slab preservation work will improve driver safety, decrease traffic disruptions for maintenance work and extend the service life of the bridges.
