OR 62 at OR 234 Roundabout

Region 3: Southwestern Oregon (Eagle Point, Jackson)


​​​​​​​​​The intersection of OR 234 and OR 62 is a top 10% Safety Priority Index System (SPIS) site. The project will provide a single lane roundabout at the intersection to help reduce the number of crashes.​

​ODOT hosted an Open House on July 30, 2025 to discuss the project with the community. For anyone who was not able to attend, you can view the Roundabout Presentation here. 

Thank you to those who were able to attend. We received great questions as well as feedback from the community.

About

​The safety problems related to this unsignalized rural intersection are associated with relatively high speeds on OR 62 in combination with significant turning volumes from OR 234. The intersection was already upgraded with flashing warning beacons and turn lanes.
