Impacts

Traffic Impact

Expect crews working Monday - Thursday, a 24/7 single lane closure with a temporary traffic signal directing traffic through the open lane and a hard barrier separating traffic from the work zone. Wider vehicles may need to take an alternate route. Drive with caution. 

Construction Impacts

When work starts, you can expect:

  • Crews working Monday - Thursday.
  • A 24/7 single lane closure with a temporary traffic signal directing traffic through the open lane.
  • A hard barrier separating traffic from the work zone. Wider vehicles may need to take an alternate route using U.S. 26 or U.S. 30.
  • Construction noise and delays.

With this project, we're planning to:

  • Replace the bridge surface.
  • Add new guardrails. 
  • Improve drainage.

This work will make the bridge safer and give you a smoother drive.
