About

enlarged project map iconThis historic U.S. 101 bridge was built in 1931. It's a popular tourist and cycling route located just north of the Tillamook Creamery. The bridge is over 90 years old and is in need of repairs.

We plan to:

  • Pave the road and seal the surface of the bridge.
  • Update the bridge railing to meet current safety standards.
  • Make the shoulder wider so it's more comfortable for bicyclists to use.

This work will preserve the bridge's history and extend its life. It's faster and more cost effective, saving money and time during construction.
