About

enlarged project map iconWe're designing safety improvements to four intersections on OR 99W:

  • At NE McDougall Road to the west – we plan to close the NE McDougall Road connection to OR 99W between the intersections at SE Locks Loops Road and NE Stoller Road. Drivers will need to use the improved OR 99W and NE Stroller Road intersection to access NE McDougall Road.
  • At NE Stoller Road – we plan to add a left-turn lane on OR 99W onto NE Stoller Road/SE Kreder Road and a right-turn lane on NE Stoller Road.
  • At NE McDougall Road/OR 18 – we plan to install a roundabout. This will improve traffic flow and make the area safer. We plan to remove the NE McDougall Road access to OR 99W at the roundabout.
  • At NE McDougall Road to the east – to make it easier for drivers to see oncoming traffic, we plan to realign the OR 99W and NE McDougall Road intersection, at milepost 29.2, east of the roundabout. This new intersection will move southwest, closer to the OR 99W and OR 18 roundabout. We also plan to extend the two way left-turn lane on OR 99W.
