About
This project will make traveling in Chiloquin safer for everyone. Planned improvements include:
Chocktoot Street:
- Add sidewalks and bike lanes
- Lighting upgrades
- Improved ADA ramps
- Storm water treatments
- Enhanced marked crossings at Lalo Avenue and Klamath Avenue
- Streetscaping
- Update railway pedestrian crossing
OR 422:
- Build a multi-use path starting at Spinks Park and ending near the Dollar General
- Add a school bus stop facility across from the ODOT maintenance yard.
- Lighted pedestrian crossings at the Tribal Administration Building and Applegate Avenue
OR 422/Chocktoot Street Intersection:
- T-up intersection and remove westbound Chocktoot slip-lane to make the intersection an all way stop
- Lighted pedestrian crossings that connect to sidewalks.
- Improve ADA ramps
- Consider space for future gateway treatment
- Add storm water facilities
Chocktoot Street/ 1st Street Intersection:
- Remove west-southbound slip lane
- Remove cement triangle in roadway
- Improve pedestrian crossings that connect to sidewalks
- Improve ADA ramps
