About
We are upgrading curb ramps in Umatilla County as part of a larger effort to meet current ADA standards.
These improvements mean increased safety and more seamless access for people who walk, bike or roll.
Benefits include:
- Upgrades to existing curb ramps and pedestrian signals.
- New ADA-compliant curb ramps and pedestrian signals where there are none.

Additional WorkIn addition to upgrading curb ramps, we will work at the following intersections:

U.S. 30 (Court Avenue) / SW 1st Street - We will remove the signal poles. We removed the signals in 2025.

U.S. 30 (Dorion Avenue) / SW 10th Street - We will add pedestrian push buttons and radar detection to this existing signal.
- U.S. 395 (Emigrant Avenue) / SW 20th Street - We will replace the signal pole and activate the signal on the northeast corner. We will add new pedestrian pushbuttons and radar detection to the existing signal.
