About

We’re updating the 2008 Dallas Transportation System Plan (TSP).  A TSP is a long-range planning document, shaped by community input, that describes the city's transportation system and details projects, programs, and policies to meet its transportation needs now and in the future.

The Dallas TSP will consider traffic congestion, traffic control solutions, transportation safety, and other considerations for Dallas’ transportation network.

The key questions the TSP planning process will answer are:

  • What do we have now?
  • What do we need?
  • What will we need in the future?
  • How will we fund our projects?
  • What should we do first?

A successful TSP is as unique as the community, so stay informed about upcoming public input opportunities by signing up for updates.
