The I-205 Improvements Project is focused on seismic improvements to the Abernethy Bridge, which spans the Willamette River between Oregon City and West Linn, and safety improvements to the surrounding area. This work is expected to be completed in 2026.

Cost and Funding
The project cost estimate is $815 million. This will come from a variety of funding sources, including HB 2017 funds, federal and local funds, and Highway User Tax Revenue bonds.
