About
We fixed and replaced damaged bridge bearings on the U.S. 101 Astoria-Megler Bridge.
Bridge bearings provide a resting surface between the bridge piers and deck/driving surface. They allow the bridge to move and flex slightly due to temperature changes, traffic and other factors without causing extra stress or damage to the bridge.
This work will help keep the bridge in good working order for years to come.
