About

enlarged project map iconWe made safety improvements at the intersection of OR 211 and S Meridian Road to help reduce the number of crashes. We:

  • Installed stop signs on OR 211 at the intersection.
  • Grinded in rumble strips across the lane at four locations on OR 211, two on each side of S Meridian Road. Rumble strips are grooves in the pavement that create vibration and sound to alert drivers when they are leaving a lane.
  • Added overhead flashing red warning lights to alert drivers of the new all-way stop.
  • Installed new signs as needed.

We'll return in 2026-2027 to make the permanent changes to this intersection.
