The purpose of the Transportation Subcommittee is to educate the veteran community on transportation options and to support coordinated, statewide efforts that help Oregon Veterans reach their health care services. Established under the Advisory Committee to the Oregon Department of Veterans’ Affairs (ODVA), the Subcommittee works to ensure Veterans are aware of and connected to the transportation resources available to them.
Its mission is to help the Veterans of Oregon obtain the medical services they have earned by providing clear, accessible information on all available transportation options. This includes offering resources in formats useful to a wide range of Veterans, tailored to their locations and individual needs.
