Answer:
NOTE - If your license has been delinquent for more than 5 years, your license has lapsed and you will need to re-apply as a new licensee. Contact your Registration Specialist. Their direct contact info can be found here.

If your license has been delinquent for less than 5 years, you may bring your license current by following the example and steps below.

Example: It is June 2026. Your license expired 12/31/2022. You must renew the 2022 and 2024 cycles, and the current 2026 cycle. You would submit the following:

2022:    $230 renewal fee + $80 delinquent fee = $310 and 30 PDH units
2024:    $230 renewal fee + $80 delinquent fee = $310 and 30 PDH units
2026:    $230 renewal fee (+ $80 delinquent fee if received after December 31) = $310 and 30 PDH units

Once all past-due cycles are approved, you would then have a new expiration date of 12/31/2028.

MANDATORY - For each renewal application, complete the following process:
  1. Login to your MyOSBEELS portal and click the green “Renew" button.
  2. Complete the renewal application (see our online guide for assistance).
  3. Send an email to osbeels.renewals@osbeels.oregon.gov letting us know that you have completed a renewal. Each renewal application will need to be approved before you can move on to the next renewal cycle. Our Accounts Specialist will reply and let you know you can start the next application.
  4. Once each renewal application has been approved, follow steps 1-3 for additional past-due cycles.

Answer:

Renewal applications and fee(s) are due for submission by 11:59 p.m. Pacific Standard Time (PST) on the day of the expiration date. Failure to do so will put your registration in "delinquent" status.  Delinquent registrants are not authorized to practice in their field, may not supervise others in their field, and may not sign or apply their seal to any documents. Delinquent registrants will remain in delinquent status until the delinquent fee is paid, renewal fee is paid, and CPD verification is submitted. For more details, see OAR 820-010-0505.
