What is the LEDS 20/20 Application?

As part of the LEDS 20/20 Project, Oregon State Police is making available a new LEDS/NCIC Access Application known as the LEDS 20/20 Application.  This application was developed by Diverse Computing, Inc, and streamlined for use in Oregon.  The LEDS 20/20 Application requires no installation at the local agency, as it is 100% web-based with no Java requirements or plug-ins.

The LEDS 20/20 Application streamlines learning through inspiration from an email inbox, making information you need easy to get to, with features that are intuitive to use.

  • Smart Message predicts what you are looking for, by running queries with only a vehicle plate or name and date of birth combination.

  • Find a Form allows you to quickly find the query you need, even if you don't know the specific message key.

  • Dark Mode allows officers in vehicles to display LEDS, without a bright screen affecting their vision or lighting their vehicle.

If your agency is interested in using the LEDS 20/20 Application, please reach out to LEDS.2020@osp.oregon.gov for more information about enrollment. A demonstration of the LEDS 20/20 Application occurs the first Tuesday of every month, e-mail us for an invite!

If you are curious and want to see more about the application, then check out our LEDS 20/20 Flyer and DCI's page.
