Oregon’s Integrated Water Resources Strategy (IWRS)

Provide your input on the next edition of the Integrated Water Resources Strategy (IWRS)!

Oregon's IWRS provides a statewide inter-agency framework for better understanding and meeting Oregon's instream and out-of-stream water needs. Oregon's Water Resources Commission adopted the first IWRS in 2012 and the second in 2017. Oregon Revised Statute (536.220) requires that the IWRS is updated every 5 years.

Draft 1 of the 2024 IWRS is now available for public review and comment. Comments will be accepted until 5 p.m. on April 5, 2024.

Comments will be incorporated into the Strategy, and a new draft will be shared for a second round of comments in May 2024

March 11, 2024 Update: The IWRS draft has been re-uploaded due to a technical issue. The new copy is linked below.
