Authorize Someone to Manage Your Business

A managing principal broker or property manager can allow another licensee to temporarily run their business subject to the following requirements.

Authorizations can't last for more than 90 days.
Person taking over must be a licensed real estate professional.
The authorization form is submitted to the Oregon Real Estate Agency before the authorization period begins.

Managing principal brokers may authorize either:

A prinicpal broker within their business or from another business, or
A broker within their own business who has at least three years of active license experience.

Property managers can authorize a property manager or principal broker to temporarily manage their& business.
