Continuing Education Requirements for Broker

Select from the following scenarios:

Take the following from Certified Continuing Education Providers before renewal date:

3-hour Law and Rule Required Course.
27-hour Broker Advanced Practices.

Enter continuing education course information into eLicense. You can do this before or during renewal.
Renew your license in eLicense.
Keep your certificates of attendance for 3 years.

For all active renewals after your first active renewal, you must:

Take the following from Certified Continuing Education Providers within 2 years before renewal:

3-hour Law and Rule Required Course.
A minimum of 27 additional hours of continuing education in required topics.

Enter continuing education course information into eLicense. You can do this before or during renewal.
Renew your license in eLicense.
Keep your certificates of attendance for 3 years.

If your license is inactive, you don't need continuing education.

Before you can activate your license, you must meet the applicable continuing education requirements.

If you have taken Broker Advanced Practices and renewed your active license at least once:

Take the following from Certified Continuing Education Providers within the 2-year period before reactivating:

A Law and Rule Required Course.
A minimum of 27 additional hours of continuing education in required topics.

If you have been inactive for more than 2 years, take the Reactivation Exam.
Reactivate your license.
Keep your certificates of attendance for 3 years.

If you have never renewed your license while active:

Take the following from Certified Continuing Education Providers within the 2-year period before reactivating:

3-hour Law and Rule Required Course.
27-hour Broker Advanced Practices.

If you have been inactive for more than 2 years, take the Reactivation Exam.
Reactivate your license.
Keep your certificates of attendance for 3 years.
