After six years away due COVID and then the Capitol renovations, Oregon State Treasury officially marked its return to the Capitol with an open house. On February 25, Treasury welcomed legislators, staff, and friends to the restored office in room 159.

The event, hosted by Treasurer Steiner, drew visitors from across the Capitol including Secretary of State and Former Treasurer Tobias Read. Close to 100 people stopped by to tour the space, connect with Treasury staff, and get a look in the historic vault.

The return to the Capitol marks a long-awaited homecoming. Treasury is glad to be back at the center of state government, committed to the work of safeguarding and growing the public funds Oregonians depend on.
