    images of the state of OregonOregon Department of Administrative Services (DAS) procurement is comprised of two offices: Procurement Services and Procurement Policy. We are the enterprise-wide purchasing authority for the State of Oregon and fulfill a variety of roles within state government:

      

    • Procurement of goods and services on behalf of state agencies, leveraging the purchasing power of local governments, state agencies and other states to ensure the cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.
    • Providing training and consultation to employees of state and local governments, and suppliers on the application of purchasing laws, rules, procedures and policies  and best practice as recognized by the Universal Public Purchasing Certification Council.
    • Maintenance of an enterprise-wide eProcurement System to support statewide procurement, purchasing and invoice settlement activities.
    • Development and implementation of procurement statutes, administrative rules and statewide policies.
    • Consultation and liaison with the Governor, Legislature and other stakeholders to build effective procurement policies and practices.  
  • Service Level Agreement

    Under the auspices of the EGS Customer Utility Board (CUB), DAS Procurement Services (DAS PS) and a group of customer agency representatives recently completed the development of the new Procurement Services Service Level Agreement (SLA). The final SLA document was voted and approved unanimously by the member of the Board during the March 2014 CUB meeting.

     

    The objective of this SLA is to ensure both DAS PS staff and customers understand and agree how the services will be performed and the responsibilities and expectations of each party. The SLA describes DAS PS's services, identifies service level performance targets and responsibilities, and documents service management processes agreed upon by DAS and representative from all four Customer Utility Boards. The SLA is a working document meant to reflect the continuous changes in services and operating processes delivered by DAS, and the change in service level expectations agreed upon between DAS PS and customers.
