Item A: Designation of Deputy Director (Action)
Director Leah Feldon will ask the commission to approve her appointment of Shannon Davis as Deputy Director.
4:30 p.m.
DEQ will present proposed temporary rules that clarify the changes to several divisions of rules governing climate programs that the commission voted on in November 2023. This action will address ambiguity around the precise changes the commission intended to adopt in that November action. The clarifications are needed because of inconsistencies between the red-line and clean rule drafts. These temporary rules do not introduce any policy changes from what was presented to the commission on Nov. 16, 2023.
