Widening Project from Cornelius Pass Road to 185th Avenue

Construction is nearly complete on a project to address congestion on U.S. 26 (Sunset Highway) between Cornelius Pass Road and 185th Avenue.

ODOT RealTime (Sunset Highway)

ODOT and Washington County (in a partnership project) are in construction of the next phase of ODOT RealTime, a system that provides real-time traffic information on roads to help travelers get where they're going more safely and efficiently. This project will implement ODOT RealTime between Washington County, central Portland and the Portland Airport.

Ross Island Bridge Painting

ODOT completed work in June 2018 on a rehabilitation project to repaint the Ross Island Bridge.

Powell Boulevard Safety

This project will increase safety for pedestrians, bicyclists, transit users and motorists on a busy section of Southeast Powell Boulevard between Southeast 20th and Southeast 34th Avenues. Construction continues through 2018.

Outer Powell Transportation Safety

ODOT will construct roadway improvements on Powell Boulevard (U.S. 26) from SE 122nd Avenue to SE 136th Avenue. This project will address the high rate of collisions on Outer Powell for the past several years. The purpose of this project is to increase safety for people who walk, drive, take the bus and ride bikes, making Outer Powell a safer place for everyone.

Boring Road (SE 282nd Avenue) Bridge Raising

The SE 282nd Avenue/Boring Road overpass will be raised, repaired and resurfaced in 2018.

Beaver Creek Culvert Repair

ODOT will repair the pipe that carries Beaver Creek under U.S. 26 east of Sandy in 2018.
