Virginia Lutz and Governor Brown 2018 Ambassador of Public Service  

In honor of the 2018 State Employee Recognition Day, Oregon state government agencies nominated individuals who exemplify what it means to be an ambassador of public service.

On May 1, 2018, Diane Gould, was the honorary recipient of the 2018 Ambassador of Public Service award. Executive Director Ron Bersin acknowledged that Diane's contribution to the agency is immeasurable and that his success as an Executive Director is directly tied to her skills​ and ​abilities. On behalf of the Oregon Government Ethics Commission we would like to recognize and congratulate Diane on this achievement.

Commission Funding Fee Assessment

The 2007 Legislature enacted law (ORS 244.255) that reorganized the funding of the Oregon Government Ethics Commission in response to the public's request to remove the agency from the General Fund and create a more stable funding source.

Adobe Connect Webinars - Presented Live Over the Internet

Man Woman Study at ComputerOGEC is pleased to offer Adobe Connect Webinars as a training option!
These short trainings are presented live by an OGEC trainer using the internet. Several different classes will be presented each month. Anyone may participate in any of these classes, but the number of available spaces is limited. Please register at least one day in advance by emailing OGEC.Training@oregon.gov. Webinars are provided free of charge. OGEC can also provide customized webinar trainings for any group on request.

Online training through iLearn Oregon

OGEC is pleased to offer free online training through iLearn Oregon. Training modules are short, focused, and convenient. There are trainings on several topics, including conflicts of interest, gifts, and executive sessions.

Whether you are a public official or a private citizen, anyone with an email address can take training through iLearn Oregon at no cost. iLearn trainings are available from any internet connected computer.
