Staff Overview

The Oregon Government Ethics Commission (OGEC) is administered by an Executive Director selected by the Commission. The Commission also employs an Agency Programs Administrator, a Compliance & Education Coordinator, two Investigators, two Trainers and two Office Support staff, all of whom are appointed by the Executive Director. 
As OGEC members and staff, we consider that we are successfully doing our jobs if we can help public officials avoid conduct that violates the government ethics statutes. We encourage people to review the laws and rules, and contact us with any questions prior to taking any action that may violate the provisions of Oregon Revised Statutes (ORS) 244.
OGEC staff are available Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for informal questions and discussions about statutes, administrative rules and the Commission’s processes. Public officials are encouraged to contact OGEC staff at any time.
