The Construction Industry Energy Board evaluates and approves or disapproves proposed state building code standards and administrative rules relating to the energy use and energy efficiency aspects of the electrical, structural, prefabricated structure, and low-rise residential specialty. The proposed standards evaluated by the board may include energy-conserving technology, construction methods, products, and materials.
To sign up in advance to provide verbal testimony at a board meeting, please email the boards coordinator. Instructions for providing testimony will be sent to you. The length of your testimony is at the discretion of the board and is usually limited to a few minutes.
Please email written testimony to the boards coordinator at least 24 hours before the meeting. Include your name, organization, and the related agenda item.
