Oregon Boiler and Pressure Vessel Specialty Code Adoption

Adoption information

The division is working with the Board of Boiler Rules to adopt the 2024 Oregon Boiler and Pressure Vessel Specialty Code (OBPVSC).

Anticipated adoption date: Oct. 1, 2024

The 2024 OBPVSC review will be based on the following:

2023 NFPA 85, Boiler and Combustion Systems Hazard Code
2021 ASME CSD-1 Controls & Safety Devices for Automatically Fired Boilers
2023 ASME PVHO-1, Pressure Vessels for Human Occupancy
