Residential Reach Code adoption

About the Residential Reach Code

The Building Codes Division is in the process of adopting the 2023 Oregon Residential Reach Code, a set of statewide optional construction standards and methods designed to increase energy efficiency. When approved, the standards will provide an additional choice for builders, consumers, contractors, and others to use for above-code energy performance of structures regulated by the Oregon Residential Specialty Code (ORSC).

The division is working with the Residential and Manufactured Structures Board and the Construction Industry Energy Board to adopt the next edition of the Oregon Residential Reach Code.

Throughout the code adoption process important notices and events will be posted on this page.
