Adoption information
The Electrical and Elevator Board has announced the beginning of the code adoption process for the 2026 Oregon Electrical Specialty Code (OESC).
Anticipated adoption date: Oct. 1, 2026
Base model codes and standards:
- 2026 NFPA 70, National Electrical Code
- Existing Oregon amendments in the 2023 OESC
- Public code amendment proposals
Throughout the code adoption process important notices and events will be posted on the code adoption webpage on the division's website.
