The Building Codes Division has started the 2026 Oregon Residential Reach Code (ORRC) adoption process. The ORRC is a statewide optional construction standard and method designed to increase energy efficiency. When approved, the standards will provide an additional choice for builders, consumers, contractors, and others to use for above-code energy performance of structures regulated by the Oregon Residential Specialty Code (ORSC).
