Oregon Home Care Commission

About

In 2017, the Oregon Home Care Commission (OHCC) submitted our Workforce Development Strategic Plan which recommended technological efficiency and innovation with regards to how in-home consumers and providers could connect with one another for consistent employment and vital service needs being met.

In the 2019 collective bargaining agreement between the OHCC and SEIU Local 503 it was agreed upon to implement an updated consumer and provider registry through partnership with Carewell SEIU 503. This collaborative effort led to Carina.
