COFFEE CREEK CORRECTIONAL FACILITY

Across Oregon’s 12 correctional institutions, great things are happening every day. From education and vocational training to community partnerships, special events, and staff achievements, each facility is actively contributing to positive change, growth, and rehabilitation. This section showcases just a few of the many efforts and accomplishments taking place throughout our system—proof that progress, connection, and hope are thriving behind the walls.

Description: A Christmas celebration centered on Catholic missals, reflection, and fellowship.

🎆 January 6, 2026 – Thanksgiving Ceremony / Annual New Year's Practice Religious Services

📍 Location: CCCM – D3
Time: 7:00–8:30 PM
👥 Participants: 5
Description: A reflective Thanksgiving-style ceremony welcoming the New Year through spiritual practice and gratitude.

🎓 January 8, 2026 – AIP Graduation (January)

📍 Location: CCCM – Minimum Dining Hall
Time: 1:30–2:30 PM
👥 Participants: 70
Description: Celebration recognizing participant accomplishments and successful completion of AIP programming.

💙 January 8, 2026 – Celebrate Recovery Religious Services

📍 Location: CCCF Chapel

Description: An evening of recovery, encouragement, and community support.

🍪 January 10, 2026 – Gospel Echoes Holiday Outreach Religious Services

📍 Locations: CCCF, CCCM, CCIC
Time: 7:30 AM–11:00 AM
👥 Volunteers: 20
Description: Volunteers will distribute Grandma's Cookies, Christmas cards, and address books.

🕒 Event Timeline

  • 7:30 AM: Volunteers arrive for check-in at CCCM
  • 8:00 AM: Preparation for cookie handout in CCCM dining room
  • 8:15 AM: AICs released by unit to retrieve goodies
  • 9:15 AM: Cookie handout completed; volunteers check in at main facility
  • 9:30 AM: Volunteers move to chapel and split into two groups:
    • 8 volunteers: Intake pod-to-pod distribution
    • 12 volunteers: Remain in chapel; AICs released unit-by-unit
  • 11:00 AM: Distribution completed; volunteers check out

Description: LDS-hosted holiday service and special observance.

GIPA Reports & Updates


The Gender Informed Practices Assessment (GIPA) is an initiative by the Oregon Department of Corrections to evaluate and improve gender-responsive and trauma-informed practices, especially for women in custody. Funded by the Oregon Legislature, GIPA reviews key areas such as facility design, staffing, and services to create a safer, more supportive environment tailored to the unique needs of incarcerated women.
