2023 ABS Conference: "Point of View"
The 2024 conference will occur on November 4-5, 2024. The 2023 conference theme, "Point of View," emphasizes the importance of recognizing and valuing the diverse perspectives of adult learners and those pursuing high school equivalency. These perspectives span a wide range of experiences, including those of immigrants, first-generation students, individuals with dyslexia, those impacted by trauma, and gifted students. It encompasses the viewpoints of individuals affected by incarceration, poverty, wealth, and those from both rural and urban environments.
