The Oregon Adult Basic Skills Conference is an annual event that brings together professionals committed to advancing adult basic skills and high school equivalency education. The conference will be held in Salem, Oregon on October 23rd-24th, 2023.

Our conference agenda is thoughtfully curated to directly address the core aspects of Adult Basic Skills and High School Equivalency education. We cover a diverse range of subjects including GED® test education, integrated education and training (IET)/career pathways, English for speakers of ​other languages (ESOL), data and assessment, corrections, ABS education, distance learning & digital literacy, advocacy, and social justice.​

Meet our Keynote Speaker, Dr. Amanda Bastoni

We are thrilled to introduce Dr. Amanda Bastoni​ as our keynote speaker. With over two decades of leadership experience, Dr. Bastoni currently serves as the Director of Career, Technical & Adult Education at CAST. Her insights into equity promotion, expansion of opportunities in Career and Technical Education (CTE), high school equivalency, and adult basic skills perfectly align with the goals and aspirations of our attendees.
