Register & Borrow Materials

Borrowing from the State Library

Our collections are not open to the public and some of the fragile or historic materials must be viewed onsite. We recommend completing the appointment form so library staff can find and gather your materials. Click here to browse our catalog.

Oregonians with a current photo ID may check out circulating materials by:
  • Visiting the State Library Monday-Friday from 1pm until 4pm
  • Go to your local library to request and InterLibrary Loan

For more information, call us at 503-378-8800.

Request an appointment at the State Library
