We're making safety improvements in 2026 at the Bethel Road and OR 99W intersection.
This project will help reduce fatal and serious injury crashes at this intersection by:
- Widening OR 99W to the east to build left-turn lanes in both directions. Vehicles moving through the intersection won't have to stop or slow down behind vehicles turning left. This will help reduce back-up and improve safety in the area.
- Improving the alignment of Bethel Road so vehicles approaching can see oncoming traffic better before turning.
