OR 569: Green Hill Road - Coburg Road

Construction Phase

Region 2: Willamette Valley and Northwest Oregon (Eugene, Lane)

​​​​​​​​​​​This project will make various improvements along OR 569 to create a safer, more efficient highway. ​

Throughout the project area expect delays, construction noise and shoulder closures as needed.

Construction Impacts

Ramp Closures 

Beginning 7/17 at 7 p.m., we're closing the eastbound Beltline Highway on-ramp from Prairie Road. We're also closing the eastbound Beltline Highway Exit 7 ramp onto Northwest Expressway.

The ramps and auxiliary lane​ will remain closed​ 24/7 for up to seven weeks as we replace bridge rails.​

​​​Th​is project is being constructed with another project on Beltline. 


While we're paving between Roosevelt Boulevard and West 11th Avenue, expect:

  • Lane closures nightly, Sunday night through Friday morning, 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.

  • Flaggers and pilot cars helping direct traffic through the work zone.

In some locations, we're working weekdays during the daytime.

Construction Activities

We're working in various sections of the project area. 

We're removing the existing asphalt, repairing the road and repaving Beltline Highway between Roosevelt Boulevard and W 11th Avenue.

​Pedestrians, including those with disabilities, will have access through or around work zones. ​

Always drive safely, watch for construction signs and workers. 

Remember: fines double in all Oregon work zones, whether workers and signs are present or not.



View Enlarged Project MapThere have been several previous Beltline Highway construction projects
in the recent past. This project completes many elements that were not able to be completed with the prior projects.

Improvements include: 

  • A new bus pullout at Green Hill Road.

  • Repaved and repaired highway surface.

  • Sign replacements that meet current standards.

  • Modified traffic signals at various intersections.

  • ADA improvements to meet current standards

  • Bridge repairs.

  • Replace the concrete median from Roosevelt Boulevard to Coburg Road.

  • Camera, traffic sensor, and variable message board sign installations at various locations.​
