Impacts

Traffic Impact

​This project will impact traffic patterns on OR 99 and I-5.

The contractor has provided a pedestrian transport vehicle (PTV) that can accommodate at least 2 ADA passengers and a maximum of 10 able-bodied pedestrians during the closure as well as transport up to 3 bicycles with a secured rack. 

Construction Impacts

​Construction continues on the bridges. There will be flaggers and delays up to 20 minutes from March 2024 through April 2024 at Birdseye Creek Bridge. The contractor will move over to Millers Gulch bridge at the end of April for a few weeks with flagging and minor delays. 

The contractor is moving to Birdseye Creek bridge after the work at Millers Gulch and around the middle of May 2024, there will be a FULL CLOSURE of Birdseye Creek bridge for approximately 3 to 5 days for pile driving and foundation work. Please find an alternate route during the closure. 

The longer FULL CLOSURE at Birdseye Creek Bridge is scheduled for the middle of June 2024 for approximately 30 days. 

​​Travelers should watch for construction signs and detours.
