Impacts

Traffic Impact

Expect a 35 mph speed limit on OR 219 and equipment moving in and around the area. Watch for workers and drive with caution.

Construction Impacts

You can expect:

  • ​Crews working during the day, but sometimes at night.
  • Single lane closures from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.
  • Reduced speed in the work zone to 35 mph on OR 219.
  • Equipment and trucks moving in and around the area.
  • Construction noise and delays.

Construction Activities

We're working on the new on and off-ramps to OR 18, building retaining walls to support the new bridge and working on realigning Wynooski Road.​

Remember: fines double in all Oregon work zones, whether workers and signs are present or not.

About

​We are building improvements for the interchange where OR 18 meets OR 219, including the realignment of NE Wynooski Road. We've started Phase 2A construction and anticipate completing construction by 2027. 

We are: 

  • Realigning OR 18 with a new connection to OR 219.
  • Adding eastbound exit, westbound entrance ramps and installing new traffic signals at these intersections.
  • Adding a bridge carrying the eastbound exit ramp over OR 219.
  • Removing the old OR 18 alignment.
  • Realigning Wynooski Road to meet the intersection of OR 219 and Wilsonville Road and will install a new traffic signal at the intersection.​
  • Removing the old Wynooski Road alignment.
  • Widening OR 219 for an additional travel lane, sidewalk, ADA ramps and drainage.​
