OSBAE Board Member Openings
Members of Oregon's state boards and commissions play a vital role in statewide decision-making and the development of public policy. Serving on a board is a meaningful way to contribute your perspective, vision, and expertise to benefit communities across Oregon. All residents are welcome and encouraged to serve.
The Oregon State Board of Architect Examiners (OSBAE) is seeking registered architects interested in being considered by the Governor for appointment.
Established by the Oregon Legislature in 1919, OSBAE protects public health, safety, and welfare by regulating the practice of architecture in Oregon. The Board is composed of seven volunteer members - five registered architects who are Oregon residents and two members of the general public. Appointees serve four-year terms, with a maximum of three terms. OSBAE currently seeks three registered architects residing in Oregon to fill upcoming vacancies.
Board service is a rewarding opportunity to share your professional expertise, develop new skills, and collaborate with dedicated leaders from across the state. Board members play a critical role in shaping policies and overseeing the profession.
