The Oregon State Board of Architect Examiners (OSBAE) is governed by a Board of volunteer members appointed by the Governor of Oregon.

Current Board Openings
OSBAE periodically seeks qualified applicants to serve on the Board.
Members of Oregon's state boards and commissions play a vital role in statewide decision-making and public service. Board service provides an opportunity to share professional expertise, contribute to public policy, and help guide the regulation of architecture in Oregon.
OSBAE is currently seeking registered architects interested in being considered for appointment by the Governor of Oregon.

Board Composition
The Oregon State Board of Architect Examiners consists of seven volunteer members:
- Five registered architects who are Oregon residents
- Two members of the general public
Board members are appointed by the Governor of Oregon.
Terms of Service
Board members serve four-year terms.
Members may serve up to three terms, subject to appointment and reappointment requirements.
