Continuing Competency (CC)

The Oregon Board of Physical Therapy has continuing competency (CC) requirements in order to renew your PT or PTA license. 

All required continuing competency must be completed within the current certification period. The current Certification Period runs from April 1, 2024 - March 31, 2026. 

Continuing Competency activities are required to be reported to the Board as part of the renewal process. You will be asked to enter details about your 2024-2026 CC courses and activities and upload copies of your certificates as part of your renewal application. You can also enter them throughout the period in order to save time at renewal and track your progress.
