Introductions and Approval of Minutes (info/action: HEMAtt.1) Chair Peppers welcomed members and attendees, and called for approval of the Subcommittee’s April 25, 2011 meeting minutes. ACTION: Diane Lovell moved to approve the minutes. Rocky King carried the motion, which passed unanimously.

Possible Additions to Additional Cost Tier (info/action: HEMAtt.2) Administrator Kapowich updated the Subcommittee on added potential treatments to the Additional Cost Tier. Diane Lovell moved to exclude the first eight treatments, as well as sinus surgery and radio frequency ablation from current coverage, while adding knee/hip resurfacing, hip arthroplasty, and tightened bariatric surgery coverage to Additional Cost Tiers, to close the $5 million gap in current reserves. Nora Leibowitz carried the motion, which the Subcommittee unanimously passed.
