Overview

The Oregon Temporary Traffic Control Handbook (OTTCH) provides a reference for the standards and practices for temporary traffic control work zones in place continuously for three days or less on public roads in Oregon. It is based on the principles set forth in Part 6 of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) and the Oregon MUTCD Supplements. The current edition is the 2011 edition.

2011 Oregon Temporary Traffic Control Handbook (OTTCH)
This is the official current version with errata incorporated (Updated October 1, 2012).
These standards were adopted by the Oregon Transportation Commission on December 21, 2011 as the standards for all temporary traffic control in place for three days or less on Oregon public roads per ORS 810.200.
Official Errata
There are revisions that need to be applied to the 2011 edition of the OTTCH. Please replace the existing text in your handbook with the corrected text in the official errata to ensure that your copy is both accurate and current. Corrections made to the online PDF copy are in red. (Updated October 1, 2012)

The 2006 edition of the OTTCH was revised for clarity, grammar, spelling, and formatting, and to be in compliance with the 2009 MUTCD. Beyond these revisions, this major changes list highlights major modifications between the 2006 edition and the 2011 edition.
