EV Charging Symbol Sign
 
As of April 11, 2011 the US Department of Transportation Federal Highway Administration has given interim approval to use the alternative Electric Vehicle Charging General Services symbol signs on all roadways in Oregon. A link to the interim approval letter is below.

In addition the FHWA requires ODOT to maintain a list of all EV Charging Symbol Signs installed in Oregon regardless of jurisdiction or maintenance responsibility.  If you are installing the EV Charging symbol sign on your facilities, please fill out the information form below and submit it to: jason.motley@odot.state.or.us

Tools for Signing Curves

The ODOT Digital Ballbanker spreadsheet is developed to be used with the Rieker® Electronics, Inc. Digital Inclinometer RDS7-BB for use in engineering studies to determine the recommended advisory speed for horizontal curves, per the 2009 Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) Section 2C.08.
