OregonBuys: One unified system — modernizing state procurement

On July 1, 2021, OregonBuys replaced the Oregon Procurement Information Network (ORPIN). This marked the completion of project Phase I. The project is now in the third wave of Phase II. This phase releases added procure-to-pay functionality to groups of state agencies in a series of three waves.

 

About the project

OregonBuys started as the collaborative effort of ten state agencies and is now approved for enterprise adoption as the statewide eProcurement solution for all state agencies.

DAS is leading this project and agencies will contribute to the efforts by participating on project teams and implementation workgroups. 


OregonBuys features

OregonBuys features procure-to-pay automated processes from request through payment, including workflows & approvals, solicitations, bid submission, purchase orders, and invoicing & reporting.

It also interfaces with R*STARS, the state’s accounting system, and the Certification Office For Business Inclusion and Diversity (COBID) Certification system. The best part? No more manual steps and a modern online marketplace shopping experience.

Navigate to https://oregonbuys.gov
  1. Click the word “Advanced” next to the top search bar
  2. Select “Blankets” in the Document Type drop-down
  3. Enter keywords or info into search fields (Description or other fields) and select Department of Administrative Services in the Organization field
