2021 Oregon Plumbing Specialty Code (OPSC) adoption

The new 2021 OPSC, based on the 2021 Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC), has been adopted and becomes effective April 1, 2021.

The integrated read-only version will be available soon.

A summary of changes has been prepared for the 2021 OPSC. This summary includes is a list of significant changes adopted in the 2021 OPSC. These changes consist of new and existing Oregon amendments, and new model code provisions approved by the State Plumbing Board.

Adopted codes and standards

The division works with building officials, technical committees, advisory boards, and the public to adopt, amend, and interpret the Oregon Plumbing Specialty Code (OPSC). This code applies to the installation, alteration, repair, relocation, and replacement of plumbing systems in commercial and residential buildings.
