Adopted codes and standards

The division works with building officials, technical committees, advisory boards, and the public to adopt, amend, and interpret the state building code, which includes uniform energy conservation standards for the construction methods, products, and materials used for the new construction, reconstruction, alteration, or repair of buildings.
