Background Checks
The Background Check Unit provides background check services and support to all Oregon Department of Human Services (ODHS) programs and Oregon Health Authority (OHA) divisions for employment purposes, for those who provide services or seek to provide services as a contractor, subcontractor, vendor or volunteer, or are employed by qualified entities that provide care and are licensed, certified, registered or otherwise regulated by ODHS or OHA.
Contracts and Procurement
The Office of Contracts and Procurement (OC&P) is responsible for purchasing and contracting for services, equipment and supplies. OC&P provides statewide contract and procurement services for the ODHS and some of its partners. The OC&P team accomplishes this by employing a skilled and diverse workforce which is committed to providing exceptional quality service to our employees, partners and vendors.
Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services
The
Oregon Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services (ODHHS) program helps to provide interpreters for clients that are members of the Deaf, deaf-blind, or hard of hearing communities.
Employees of public agencies (state, county, city and municipal) can request a sign language interpreter or real-time captioner by filling out an online form.
Financial Recovery
Financial recovery comprises several programs under the
Office of Payment Accuracy and Recovery (OPAR) that collect money from individuals, the estates of people who received certain ODHS and OHA services, institutions and others.
Forecasting, Research and Analysis
The
Office of Forecasting, Research and Analysis (OFRA) supports ODHS and OHA by providing accurate, timely, unbiased caseload forecasts, and related research and analysis to support budgeting, policy development and operational planning.
