Children's Care Licensing

OAR 407-049-0005 to 407-049-0120 and Senate Bill 749​ requires all Referral Agents or other professionals who are compensated for providing program referrals to register with The Oregon Department of Human Services (ODHS) every two years. This rule applies to children who are residents of Oregon being referred regardless of whether the programs are located in Oregon or out of Oregon and children from other states who are referred to programs in the state of Oregon.

Referral Agents must complete the registration process and obtain a Certificate of Registration from the department on or before January 1, 2022, in order to continue providing program referrals as outlined in the rules above.
